MSBA 1L Clerkship Program Application

Thank you for your interest in the Minnesota Diversity Clerkship Program and your help in fostering diversity within the Minnesota legal community.

Applications for the Summer 2013 Clerkship Program are due January 25, 2013.

To apply for the clerkship program you will need to submit:

  • Contact information;
  • Law school transcript with GPA;
  • Undergraduate university transcript with GPA;
  • An essay explaining what makes you a unique candidate for this program and how you think your uniqueness will affect your legal career in Minnesota;
  • A legal writing sample;
  • Your resume; and
  • The below Minnesota Minority Clerkship Online Application

Each 1L law student who provides a complete application and who identifies as a minority will be interviewed by members of the Diversity Committee. A limited number of applicants will be selected for a second round of interviews.
